Stephen Prilliman has taught at OCU since 2009. Before that he taught for six years at Harding Charter Preparatory, a school he helped start in 2003. Prilliman uses the POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) method of teaching in which students work in small groups rather than listen to lecture. His research is in the development and use of innovative strategies and assessments for learning in chemistry. Prilliman teaches General Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry at OCU.
