Biography
Keyna Allen is an Instructor of Dance and holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ City University. Allen has contributed to public arts education as Co-Director of the Dance Program at Classen School of Advanced Studies, where she served as ballet faculty and pioneered a tap program. She has also served on faculty for the annual OKC Tap Festival. Her professional performance credits include featured and ensemble roles with Lyric Theatre of ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥, Music Theatre Wichita, ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ City Philharmonic, and Larrwell Productions. Her choreography credits include Hairspray (Heritage Hall Upper School), numerous works set on the Vibe Dance Company, and ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥! (Lyric Theatre of ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥, assistant choreographer). Allen is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum, and is also certified through Youth Protection Association for Dance.
