Biography
Dr. Jeff Fisher is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified of Public Accountants. He currently serves as the director of the online Master of Accounting (MSA) program at ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ City University.
Before entering academia in 2019, Fisher was a practicing certified public accountant in ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥. Prior to entering the accounting field, he founded and served as CEO of CD Exchange, Inc. (ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥), from 2002 to 2010. He also served as an area manager for CD Warehouse, Inc., from 1998 to 2002 in ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ City and the surrounding area.

Fisher’s teaching interests include cost and managerial accounting, taxation, and competency-based pedagogies using established technologies. His research interests focus on the effectiveness of active learning pedagogy in the classroom and the value of internships as a learning tool.
