Studio Series production in the Black Box Theater

In this play, which originally premiered Off-Broadway in 1968, Michael is throwing a birthday party in his Upper East Side apartment for Harold, a self-avowed 鈥渢hirty-two-year-old, pockmarked, Jew fairy,鈥� complete with surprise gift: 鈥淐owboy,鈥� a street hustler. As the evening wears on 鈥� fueled by drugs and alcohol 鈥� bitter, unresolved resentments among the guests come to light when a game of 鈥淭ruth鈥� goes terribly wrong.
THE STUDIO SERIES repertoire is more eclectic, allowing student and faculty directors to produce works that range from reimagined classics to very 蜜聊直播 plays in an atmosphere that highlights acting directing, and the text, and deemphasizes the need for production values.
